On January 3rd we will leave Fort Lauderdale, Florida for our World Cruise. This is the first time we are attempting to Blog our adventures so…fingers crossed.
Some explanation may be required concerning our Tagline: “Seeing God’s Hand at Work Around the World“. My brother, Brian, is an architect and when he travels, he takes photos of sites I just don’t see. His eyes are trained differently than mine. We accomplish this philanthropy through our The Hope for Today Charitable Fund a foundation we have established to serve those in need. We have earmarked charitable organizations throughout our trip that we visit to offer financial and volunteer support. When possible, mindful of privacy concerns, we will send summaries of our experiences.
We have learned from experience that it is not the places you see but the people you meet that makes travel meaningful. With that theme in mind, we will report from what lies around the next bend and the people that we are ordained to encounter on the way. Let the journey begin…
