My apologies to Willie Nelson, but we are on the road (sea) again. As were our plans; after spending some months at home with our children and grandchildren, we left November 9th to continue our Hope for Today World Cruise. This leg is 42 days, and we return home on December 21st to share Christmas with our family. Here is our current itinerary:

As we have had some sea days before we arrive in Horta, Azores, Portugal allow me to share with you some special news regarding the Walsh family.

Last fall, our son Jimmy and daughter-in-law Kayla, who live in Colorado, announced that they were having twins. On June 9th, Olivia June and Eden James joined our family.

We are so happy to have twins in our family. My good friend Terry Mooney is a twin and he and his brother Brandan had well deserved notoriety in college as the Mooney brothers. Let’s hope Olivia and Eden have that same closeness.

Having lived in close proximity for 9 months they are always hugging and kissing on each other.

Of course, the most fun when you have twins is that you get to dress them up and pose them in all kinds of unique (and funny) ways. Take a look at the Pumpkin Patch pictures our daughter-in-law Kayla sent us. Hilarious!

As we were leaving sunny Florida our daughter Shannon had just arrived in Colorado Springs to attend a women’s conference and was met with the first winter storm. Olivia and Eden got to experience their first snow. Looks like they liked it!!
