I love my balcony. Each morning, right before sunrise, I start my day on our balcony. I begin with some stretches with some elastic bands and then as the sun rises, I do my Daily Devotional. It makes my day feel measured. It is rare that one has the opportunity to have a completely unobstructed view of the endless horizon. It makes me feel small and grand at the same time. And since I know when the sun will rise and set, I pay attention. I am utterly in awe of the amazing entrances and departures of God’s creation.

Today was a sea day and this morning we sailed by the Fjordland National park the largest National Park in New Zealand and one of the largest in the world. One would think that fjords are reserved only for Norway, and yes, there are some amazing fjords in Norway as the photos below will attest to.

However, Fjordland National Park is also amazing, and the sights passed by us as views being looked at through an endless panoramic window.
