Thank you for your recent comments on my blog regarding Tianjin, China and its regulatory compliance environment. Your comments let me know that some of you are following along. Any writer appreciates feedback.

The blog begged the larger question of what is the probability of China overtaking the United States as the premiere world power?

The one area that China will surpass the entire world is in population growth.

This is exactly what President Xi Jingping is accounting on. His plan of population size to become the world’s dominate power is the key strategy in many of his communist’s party’s directives. But growth alone does not foster competition, but from my observation chaos.

Totaltarion governments can control a population and give unlimited, unrestrained power to its leaders. This is the stronghold that Vadir Putin has exercised over Russia and the same goal that Xi Jingping is attempting (and succeeding) to accomplish in China.

Let’s be perfectly clear.

No government structure can foster the entrepreneurship, innovation, inspiration and quality of life than Democracy. Democracy moves people and nations to aspire for and maintain greatness.

For those of who you may be worrying about the future, I believe your worries are unfounded.
